RenRiot is a Black, queer emo soft-grunge band from Washington, DC, blending raw emotion and vulnerable lyricism into a sound that feels both nostalgic and distinctly their own. Originally launched as a solo project, RenRiot evolved into a full band in July 2025, quickly establishing a presence within the Washington, DC music scene through high-energy performances and a bold artistic vision.

In 2026, RenRiot was featured on NBC4 Washington and performed as the first band on the Main Stage at Capital Pride, expanding their reach to broader audiences and solidifying their reputation as a rising force in the alternative music community. Their music explores identity, resilience, and self-discovery, delivered with the urgency and authenticity that define their live shows.

With a growing catalog of original music and an expanding performance resume, RenRiot continues to build momentum while carving out a unique space at the intersection of alternative rock, grunge, and emo.
